Yes you do! Fill it to the proper operating level which is half way into the skimmer opening. This way when we leave, your water is circulating and being filtered.
After we open your pool, we try to be there within 4-days or less. The dirtier the pool at the opening, the sooner we would come back.
Not necessarily. In the beginning of the season we clean your filters or backwash often until the water is clear. After that, filters are cleaned every 4-6 weeks unless the filter pressure rises. In which case we would do it regardless of the time frame. Backwashing depends on the pool. Some need it every week, others can go 2-3 weeks without backwashing. Filter pressure tells us everything - if it's high, we are interacting with the filter.
