We begin by draining the pool with high volume submerssible pumps the day before we start the job. Then we pressure wash the plaster to remove algae and staining. We treat the stains and acid wash the plaster as needed. After your pool is filled with clean water,we clean your pool filter and test the water to make sure it’s chemically balanced.
Acid washing is aggressive and removes a very thin layer of the plaster. We use it for very stubborn stains that our eco-friendly decreaser will not remove.

No, but it will look significantly better. After a few weeks of the drain and clean, your surface will get brighter due to the chemicals slowly lifting out stains. The only way your surface will look brand new is if you have a new surface applied.
No it does not. The cost of the drain includes removing the water, spraying the surface with muriatic acid, pressure washing the pool, and pressure washing the deck. Once the pool is full, we will turn on your equipment and get it running, as well as test your water so you know what chemicals need to be added. We can add them, you just have to pay additional for the chemicals.
